Terms of Service

By accessing or using GhostProof ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

GhostProof is an AI-powered job application tracking platform that helps users organise their job search, generate follow-up emails, score resumes, prepare for interviews, and more. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with a Free plan and a paid Pro plan.

To use GhostProof, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share your password.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Ghostproof offers a full refund within 30 days of your original purchase date. If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription for any reason, contact us at hello@getghostproof.com within 30 days and we will issue a complete refund — no questions asked. For full details see our Refund Policy.

GhostProof offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. The Pro plan is available on a monthly ($12/month) or annual ($120/year) subscription basis.

• Free plan: Limited to 10 job applications and 3 AI follow-up emails per month. No credit card required.
• Pro plan: Unlimited applications, unlimited AI features, and access to all premium tools.
• Billing: Subscription payments are processed securely by Paddle. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until that date. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You agree not to use GhostProof to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Use the AI features to generate misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent.
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service through automated means.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

GhostProof uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI content including follow-up emails, resume suggestions, interview preparation, and more.

• AI-generated content is provided for informational and assistive purposes only.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before use.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs.
• By using AI features, you grant us a limited licence to process your job application data through the Anthropic API solely for generating the requested content.

The GhostProof platform, including its design, code, branding, and non-user-generated content, is owned by GhostProof and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into GhostProof (job applications, notes, resume content, etc.). We do not claim any rights over your content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

Your use of GhostProof is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

GhostProof does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant that using GhostProof will result in job offers or interviews.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GhostProof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or lost employment opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms other users or the integrity of the Service.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@getghostproof.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
